The Doctor, The TARDIS, and Delicate Alien Introductions

I have been concocting a theory regarding Doctor Who. What if The Doctor is actually a/the time guardian for this timeline (and an alien, of course), ensuring that alterations are not made prematurely, but also acting like a caretaker, to ensure that humanity has some exposure to actual aliens prior to a formal/full introduction? In that case a number of alien species would be allowed onto the show under The Doctor's supervision, perhaps without even the crew realizing this was happening (Zygons were the first to come to mind here, since they can easily appear human).

Today though I considered the TARDIS within this framework. For some reason that I can't yet fully explain, it feels as though the TARDIS would need to be in this category of aliens introduced through the show. This might not even be intentional; even if the rest of the theory were not true, it feels like the TARDIS would still be an actual alien, in a very real sense. This is because they are able to move differently and without restriction through time and space, directing action, even though they are depicted as almost entirely separated from reality. The few instances where they did interact with reality directly, their power seems limitless within the context of the Doctor Who universe. As the imaginations of the viewers connect to this entity from our universe, and the entity has power based on/only limited by imagination, this would create an automatic link in the theory that I am talking about. Combining this with my theory that regions of reality outside of human perception are populated, and those populating these regions become more clear and able to interact with us as our perception approaches and encroaches on said regions, the TARDIS would represent a limit, of a kind, within this field. Unlike many other vastly powerful entities depicted in media, where their powers are displayed and described, the TARDIS would be able to actually manifest power within the confines of this theory, because the power is imagined, remains hidden, and builds slowly within imaginations, moreso than on screen, over time.

All of this has me thinking about the many times that I have seen The Doctor, in multiple forms, in my dreams; I can't recall though if I have seen the TARDIS. It also has me thinking about the experience I had this year where I realized that vantage points could result in the spacial dilation seen within the TARDIS, if reality by agreement is structured precisely and originated from a realm of logic. This concept is also represented if deeply considering the dimensional jump required to move from the realm of The Word, to a familiar physical three dimensional realm. It was strange when I experienced this; it feels like I can distinctly remember standing on the threshold (The TARDIS door), and slowly scanning from outside of it to inside, and seeing the realm expand wherever my vision intersected with my environment. This worked on both the room outside and the vessel inside. I cannot, however, place where I was when this happened, and if it occurred in my waking realm or another. For example, I can't tell if I was watching an episode and the barrier between screen and my room experienced this, if it was a dream, or something else. It feels as though this logic follows the theme I have been experiencing recently, where I am only recognizing that certain key thresholds/barriers exist because I am theorizing and sensing that something or someone is crossing them.
