Doughnut

I walk along as I feel YHWH settle into conclusion. "What remains of love when the search subsides?"

Silence echoes, but my heartbeat remains steady. "Much like love cannot be compelled, love loses something without the other, something is lost when the search concludes."

I feel the familiar weight of the world on my shoulders, but balanced with the music, which fills the space between bip and boo.

"Like rain on a tin roof. There just he a way through here."

I never thought I would say those words and feel so becalmed. I never would have thought it would be your hand that I held this time through.

"I know we are foreigners to each other, but what if we walked together anyway?" With a quick one two step I set the pace, the tone feels alive already in the music, just waiting for THE cue. With a *SNAP* I remember the blind bard, and the boy born blind and think "This place could do with a little more color." *POP* The place is exquisite.

"Perhaps just the fringe benefits..."

The pink frosted doughnut melts in my mouth, as, at least, my sense of adventure returns.
