Patience Wearing Thin

Hope runs in, looking short on patience.

"Regarding the black hole and white hole equation, why not just set each at an end and start filling the space between with tiny slices of each? Keep expanding the space between, filling as if with static, until the static actually fits- until balance is achieved. Then you have an answer, conceptual yes, but with solid architecture."

My eyes gleam at Hope's return, even as her suggestion takes root.

"Right, it's not like I said I would solve the equation, but having the architecture available in which to solve it feels important, from my corner of imagining wonderful things."

She smiles. I invite her to stay for lunch. We dance the space between certainty and uncertainty, curves unconcerning here with corners founded foundationally.
