The sun is shining
It was chilly this morning
A quite welcome cold

Summer heat faded
Save Deus Ex Machina
A thing of the past

I am relaxing
After a full week of work

Writing simmers down
Fallow Fields becoming true
For title they bear

Delayed but not stopped
Ivy grows in every crack
Prime vintage ferments

Full schedule ahead
Video games and then more!

Chores all feeling blocked
Even eating distasteful
Yet I do not fret

Faith found in the gap
Blessings in the smallest things
Threading through it all

Verdict

I have held this back for long enough. This wicked generation sickens me. This distasteful generation disgusts me. 1,000 generations promised, nonetheless, and so it will be. Did you know that one can build an image of Jesus so clearly in their mind that they will see an idol in his place and feel certain of their eternal fate? A cloned image, without the power of God. Perhaps considered fine, here on Earth, but what of on Judgement Day? How horrific would it be to find out that you have been lied to? How terrifying will it be to hear "I never knew you" in the silence, while you ask the lawyer by your side to proceed? Jesus is not coming for you. You hung him on the cross, you pierced him and left him there in your heart, never even thinking to repay the forgiveness he would ultimately offer.
