Midnight Bolt

To fashion garment
To lower spy at midnight
To connect paired minds

To keep car going
When that *BANG* is finally heard
To lift off that gate

Securing the gate
(Contronyms bloom over( )time)
Like an arrow loosed

Fasten rope and stone
A rose growing so quickly
They're first seen in bloom

Like far early spring
I'd like some explanations
When you catch your breath

How you caught your stride
To run the length of this track
Even as I step

Just a man walking
Somehow with the sense of you
Leading me straight home

Despite circles felt
Despite lightning east to west

Verdict

I have held this back for long enough. This wicked generation sickens me. This distasteful generation disgusts me. 1,000 generations promised, nonetheless, and so it will be. Did you know that one can build an image of Jesus so clearly in their mind that they will see an idol in his place and feel certain of their eternal fate? A cloned image, without the power of God. Perhaps considered fine, here on Earth, but what of on Judgement Day? How horrific would it be to find out that you have been lied to? How terrifying will it be to hear "I never knew you" in the silence, while you ask the lawyer by your side to proceed? Jesus is not coming for you. You hung him on the cross, you pierced him and left him there in your heart, never even thinking to repay the forgiveness he would ultimately offer.
