Christmas lights glisten
A starry night seen and heard
Strung up through the halls

As notes played loudly
Translated into color
All sung at 16

Love is in the air
'Twixt chemical and airwave
Shiny dissonance

Mixed with resonance
Like each room lending a hand
All on the same page

The keys have been taught
To those with more knack for them
The wheel taken (up)

All I do is sing
Words and tone a little off
But heart shines the same

Until green and red
Shift to an orange and black hue
I know Hope is near

The colors might change
But Halloween and/or Christmas
Hearts beat the same way

Verdict

I have held this back for long enough. This wicked generation sickens me. This distasteful generation disgusts me. 1,000 generations promised, nonetheless, and so it will be. Did you know that one can build an image of Jesus so clearly in their mind that they will see an idol in his place and feel certain of their eternal fate? A cloned image, without the power of God. Perhaps considered fine, here on Earth, but what of on Judgement Day? How horrific would it be to find out that you have been lied to? How terrifying will it be to hear "I never knew you" in the silence, while you ask the lawyer by your side to proceed? Jesus is not coming for you. You hung him on the cross, you pierced him and left him there in your heart, never even thinking to repay the forgiveness he would ultimately offer.
