Spooky Halloween Story

One stands in the darkness as words echo and fade "You must persist forever or at some point cease." If not after that, then how could you ever cease? You scream into the void but hear not a sound. You drop your head and whisper "Please..." 
But no one came.

"What's all this then!?" Hope glistens as an infinitesimal invisible spark, suddenly returned. You look up and green eyes shine in the darkness. "Who are you?" "Psh. Wrong question." You consider a moment "What's the right one?" Shining white teeth smile playfully from the blackness "I'm so glad you asked."

Verdict

I have held this back for long enough. This wicked generation sickens me. This distasteful generation disgusts me. 1,000 generations promised, nonetheless, and so it will be. Did you know that one can build an image of Jesus so clearly in their mind that they will see an idol in his place and feel certain of their eternal fate? A cloned image, without the power of God. Perhaps considered fine, here on Earth, but what of on Judgement Day? How horrific would it be to find out that you have been lied to? How terrifying will it be to hear "I never knew you" in the silence, while you ask the lawyer by your side to proceed? Jesus is not coming for you. You hung him on the cross, you pierced him and left him there in your heart, never even thinking to repay the forgiveness he would ultimately offer.
