The sun is shining
On this unusual day
In the midst of fall

I have been tested
And all that was found is love
As far as I know

The jagged line mapped
Then the reins given away
To first passerby

A performance piece
Marked Christmas Light masonry
To shimmer the stage

I feel more relaxed
As if my work is finished
Trust is established

Five posts in the fence
A structure simple and strong
Though far from complete

So I work today
Headspace feeling much more clear
Thoughts reorganized

Thoughts still on my love
Anticipation mounting
Some things never change

Verdict

I have held this back for long enough. This wicked generation sickens me. This distasteful generation disgusts me. 1,000 generations promised, nonetheless, and so it will be. Did you know that one can build an image of Jesus so clearly in their mind that they will see an idol in his place and feel certain of their eternal fate? A cloned image, without the power of God. Perhaps considered fine, here on Earth, but what of on Judgement Day? How horrific would it be to find out that you have been lied to? How terrifying will it be to hear "I never knew you" in the silence, while you ask the lawyer by your side to proceed? Jesus is not coming for you. You hung him on the cross, you pierced him and left him there in your heart, never even thinking to repay the forgiveness he would ultimately offer.
