Daydream of The Treacherous Path Walked

I walk beneath the 16 overpasses, feet straight perhaps from no one else's point of view. As the roller coaster spins I whistle all the same, now knowing the sword could drop from any one and I would fall just the same. What is this to me? The tides feel calm in their own way now, though understood to be just as tumultuous as ever. What once was a high line I see now as an ocean; what once was balance I see now as a vessel; the halls once empty are now decks carrying a bright eyed and determined crew, each echoing the same song in each their own voice.

In the song my heart beats. In the silence my heart beats. The constant roar deafens, the noise drowning itself out, but I am yet at ease. For I know this day has come, so on others I may do as I please. A path recorded by all those still watching, an encrypted road for each to some degree. One reconciled in joy when time comes, one not walked alone for I would not dare to dream to resist love.
