Blessing

Who would dare bless God?
My Lord You have everything
And want for nothing

But what of Your form?
The form of God is not God
So might I bless it?

What of Your Spirit?
God You are not Your Spirit
So might I bless them?

God, what of Your heart?
Beating in chest, guiding thoughts
Surely You are more

And what of Your thoughts?
They're Yours, but You are not them
So these do I bless(?)

Today is so strange
Alone, but not without You
So here, do I bless(?)

May you be untouched
Until you have decided
To be otherwise

Every precious piece
I marvel and add nothing

Verdict

I have held this back for long enough. This wicked generation sickens me. This distasteful generation disgusts me. 1,000 generations promised, nonetheless, and so it will be. Did you know that one can build an image of Jesus so clearly in their mind that they will see an idol in his place and feel certain of their eternal fate? A cloned image, without the power of God. Perhaps considered fine, here on Earth, but what of on Judgement Day? How horrific would it be to find out that you have been lied to? How terrifying will it be to hear "I never knew you" in the silence, while you ask the lawyer by your side to proceed? Jesus is not coming for you. You hung him on the cross, you pierced him and left him there in your heart, never even thinking to repay the forgiveness he would ultimately offer.
