The sun is shining
The excessive heat warnings
A daily echo

This day feels mundane
Though it is a holiday
So (restful/lazy) as well

I fed cat and birds
Walked down to the corner store
Spent too much money

Tough with my ankle
To make more efficient trips
For the time being

This Achilles' Heel
Growing weary of this game
Do you not want more?

If you want me fit
I'll be needing more than this
Body breaking down

Perfect on the way
In this my faith remains strong
Despite these pitfalls

Oh, and a blessing!
Tiny lizard was spotted
On my kitchen floor!

Verdict

I have held this back for long enough. This wicked generation sickens me. This distasteful generation disgusts me. 1,000 generations promised, nonetheless, and so it will be. Did you know that one can build an image of Jesus so clearly in their mind that they will see an idol in his place and feel certain of their eternal fate? A cloned image, without the power of God. Perhaps considered fine, here on Earth, but what of on Judgement Day? How horrific would it be to find out that you have been lied to? How terrifying will it be to hear "I never knew you" in the silence, while you ask the lawyer by your side to proceed? Jesus is not coming for you. You hung him on the cross, you pierced him and left him there in your heart, never even thinking to repay the forgiveness he would ultimately offer.
