The sun is rising
Though I have remained awake
Having slept so long

This day will see rest
I have no concerns on this
No worries today

What else can I say?
These days have seen much writing
Ink on every page

Christmas lights still up
Which New Year's Day did you mean?
I will get ready

Three stages were set
The next to last forever
Paradise reclaimed

No goodbye will do
Even if no one listens

Especially if
The Legos fit perfectly
This house will be built

And it will see joy
Family running the hallways
Friends in every room

Verdict

I have held this back for long enough. This wicked generation sickens me. This distasteful generation disgusts me. 1,000 generations promised, nonetheless, and so it will be. Did you know that one can build an image of Jesus so clearly in their mind that they will see an idol in his place and feel certain of their eternal fate? A cloned image, without the power of God. Perhaps considered fine, here on Earth, but what of on Judgement Day? How horrific would it be to find out that you have been lied to? How terrifying will it be to hear "I never knew you" in the silence, while you ask the lawyer by your side to proceed? Jesus is not coming for you. You hung him on the cross, you pierced him and left him there in your heart, never even thinking to repay the forgiveness he would ultimately offer.
