Midnight Search

Oh these long records
Sleep/Dream extended past its due
Gaining clear focus

I am diligent
This year I'm even precise
Editing the page

Through these adventures
I still have my preferences
I'd love to see you

Daydreaming of you
Dreaming of dreaming of you
Searching each midnight

Sensing you dancing
Not above messengers sent
Who point back to you

So to you I climb
Glad for my companions saved
And always scheming

What turn might I take
That dreamers might find themselves
Awake and in love?

In love by daylight

Midnight's cycle breaks

Verdict

I have held this back for long enough. This wicked generation sickens me. This distasteful generation disgusts me. 1,000 generations promised, nonetheless, and so it will be. Did you know that one can build an image of Jesus so clearly in their mind that they will see an idol in his place and feel certain of their eternal fate? A cloned image, without the power of God. Perhaps considered fine, here on Earth, but what of on Judgement Day? How horrific would it be to find out that you have been lied to? How terrifying will it be to hear "I never knew you" in the silence, while you ask the lawyer by your side to proceed? Jesus is not coming for you. You hung him on the cross, you pierced him and left him there in your heart, never even thinking to repay the forgiveness he would ultimately offer.
