Now feels like sand between toes
Shoreline sneaking in

Goats on screen (on screen)
Carnival and Thanksgiving
Chestnuts behind glass

Amazing echoes
Now in context (felt fading/feel faded)
In context of now

The times of the tryst
Like signals desynchronized
So senders might meet

Let us rendezvous
Moonlit Midnight Encounter
Beneath star and pine

The rest turned away
Of their own accord tonight
As lovers come close

Accord not broken
Certificate to sample
Still fresh in my mind

So walk silver lined
Path of goldenrod taken

Verdict

I have held this back for long enough. This wicked generation sickens me. This distasteful generation disgusts me. 1,000 generations promised, nonetheless, and so it will be. Did you know that one can build an image of Jesus so clearly in their mind that they will see an idol in his place and feel certain of their eternal fate? A cloned image, without the power of God. Perhaps considered fine, here on Earth, but what of on Judgement Day? How horrific would it be to find out that you have been lied to? How terrifying will it be to hear "I never knew you" in the silence, while you ask the lawyer by your side to proceed? Jesus is not coming for you. You hung him on the cross, you pierced him and left him there in your heart, never even thinking to repay the forgiveness he would ultimately offer.
