Sonnet of Lovers' Gambit

A rhyme crystallizes its words in mind
Crystal/Charcoal with truth imbued a diamond makes
When dreamers awaken they soon will find
Snakes turned to sticks are once more turned to snakes

In this tapestry snakes woven like thread
Realm crafted swift by all tailors within
So that which one sees was once in one's head
Twice lucky in love so tale might begin

Once, twice, three times a lady at rest rest
By nothing or luck tilted she rushes
They share mind but same heart beats in our chest
Love as strong as death, stronger than trusses

Worry not if a line slips (defenses/your reason)
For the lovers' gambit builds all (fences/season)
