Fallow 155

The sun is shining
There are some clouds in the sky
But the storm has passed

It came just in time
To test patience and mettle
But I stayed fist clenched

I had come so far
I had no intention to
Leave empty handed

Words seemed to bolster
When I finally thought to write
Expediting wait

Now let them echo
Persistence, love, and resolve
Into days henceforth

Halls articulate
Shared control fractally shaped
Stable over time

I am working now
Afterglow of a long night
Buoying my soul

Bright eyes shining forth
Each shining from own corner
Hope for the future
