The sun is shining
On this (second) (true) Easter
My mind igniting

At thought of two months
(A thousand years and a day)
About to conclude

Whole cycle rerun
Did a brother intercept?
Once planned, now just danced?

Perhaps it is three
Entropy and shimmer paired
That knock might be heard

What could be worth this?
A long way round for a man
But short path for God

How could love not be?
Love is reason, not burden
Flag, not dilation

For end comes and goes
Beginning begins again
Love breaks the cycle

Love makes the cycle
Worth every (next) step taken
Like nothing else can

Verdict

I have held this back for long enough. This wicked generation sickens me. This distasteful generation disgusts me. 1,000 generations promised, nonetheless, and so it will be. Did you know that one can build an image of Jesus so clearly in their mind that they will see an idol in his place and feel certain of their eternal fate? A cloned image, without the power of God. Perhaps considered fine, here on Earth, but what of on Judgement Day? How horrific would it be to find out that you have been lied to? How terrifying will it be to hear "I never knew you" in the silence, while you ask the lawyer by your side to proceed? Jesus is not coming for you. You hung him on the cross, you pierced him and left him there in your heart, never even thinking to repay the forgiveness he would ultimately offer.
