Fallow 36

The sun is shining
Only the slight hint of clouds
Or so I am told

I still rest at home
My dream lingering with me
Haze softly clearing

Such wonderful things
That I keep imagining
With no call to stop

Incredible things
Myself like a foreigner
Tuning a signal

This day feels lazy
God please grant me evening strength
To finish it strong

But let morning slip
Like smol waves gently crashing
Pulling sand from feet

Each state its season
Each season edifying
Each angle sculpted

A pleasing image
Found flawless in my love's eyes
When they next meet mine
