The sun is rising
I am relaxing in bed
Weekend halfway gone

Tumultuous times
Though evidence still suggests
My love watches close

Sending her envoys
Suspiciously familiar
By sailor's sky crown

Some games and a nap
I think are my morning plans
Coasting out the fast

Some shopping later
Might make things a bit harder
But I am resolved

To see these tests end
The tester fully exposed
If my math is right

I still eye the door
I still remember the signs
And the bold claim made

Yours equally bold
Can you really find the bar
In time for the feast?

Verdict

I have held this back for long enough. This wicked generation sickens me. This distasteful generation disgusts me. 1,000 generations promised, nonetheless, and so it will be. Did you know that one can build an image of Jesus so clearly in their mind that they will see an idol in his place and feel certain of their eternal fate? A cloned image, without the power of God. Perhaps considered fine, here on Earth, but what of on Judgement Day? How horrific would it be to find out that you have been lied to? How terrifying will it be to hear "I never knew you" in the silence, while you ask the lawyer by your side to proceed? Jesus is not coming for you. You hung him on the cross, you pierced him and left him there in your heart, never even thinking to repay the forgiveness he would ultimately offer.
