The sun is shining
'Twas a good day for laundry
Good night for a run

An evening cleaning
Anniversary in mind
14th year to start

I am curious
What reserves are remaining
In this bag of tricks

My dreams testing me
Every snare torn wide open
And documented

Yet I stay centered
The cars passing the window
As they have for years

Work an afterthought
Few things, little importance
All that fills these days

The fast continues
Routines continue as well
To strengthen signal

I write (through/of) it all
Thankful for these fallow fields
But hopes set in her

Verdict

I have held this back for long enough. This wicked generation sickens me. This distasteful generation disgusts me. 1,000 generations promised, nonetheless, and so it will be. Did you know that one can build an image of Jesus so clearly in their mind that they will see an idol in his place and feel certain of their eternal fate? A cloned image, without the power of God. Perhaps considered fine, here on Earth, but what of on Judgement Day? How horrific would it be to find out that you have been lied to? How terrifying will it be to hear "I never knew you" in the silence, while you ask the lawyer by your side to proceed? Jesus is not coming for you. You hung him on the cross, you pierced him and left him there in your heart, never even thinking to repay the forgiveness he would ultimately offer.
