Perpetual Sunset

Double band of light
Found at just the right angle
Twixt sun and surface

Meridian cousins
Accounting for curvature
See these same colors

And what of (brothers/sisters)
That have conceived this structure
Finding themselves here

For here is shifting
Perpetual sunset band
Always on the move

Connecting day one
To very last night on Earth
Blue, purple, and pink

As we sleep and rise
This horizon chases sun
And dances seasons

A peaceful image
Of a beautiful moment
Always in the now

A very real view
From imaginary lines
Drawn in mind and sky

Verdict

I have held this back for long enough. This wicked generation sickens me. This distasteful generation disgusts me. 1,000 generations promised, nonetheless, and so it will be. Did you know that one can build an image of Jesus so clearly in their mind that they will see an idol in his place and feel certain of their eternal fate? A cloned image, without the power of God. Perhaps considered fine, here on Earth, but what of on Judgement Day? How horrific would it be to find out that you have been lied to? How terrifying will it be to hear "I never knew you" in the silence, while you ask the lawyer by your side to proceed? Jesus is not coming for you. You hung him on the cross, you pierced him and left him there in your heart, never even thinking to repay the forgiveness he would ultimately offer.
