These lines that are crossed
Can a closeness make up for
Sin unforgiven?

What harm has been done?
Is it better to wonder
At rapid distance?

Is this precaution?
An escape velocity
Held holy by speed?

Is this something else?
Light of freedom finally found
Never looking back?

I ask for our sake
Do not let me see that end
Without fullproof plans

For I remember
The single kiss and portal 
(the ring and intense phrases)
Made me want to die

But if Atlas slumps
Crushed by innocent feather
What of the world?

Let wedding gift be
A veil I never conceive
Though shrug (but delayed/on its way)

Verdict

I have held this back for long enough. This wicked generation sickens me. This distasteful generation disgusts me. 1,000 generations promised, nonetheless, and so it will be. Did you know that one can build an image of Jesus so clearly in their mind that they will see an idol in his place and feel certain of their eternal fate? A cloned image, without the power of God. Perhaps considered fine, here on Earth, but what of on Judgement Day? How horrific would it be to find out that you have been lied to? How terrifying will it be to hear "I never knew you" in the silence, while you ask the lawyer by your side to proceed? Jesus is not coming for you.
