Shifting Gaze

Up, up, and away
Triangles then pyraminds
As stories cascade

My movements measured
Carefully calibrated
To link here and there

We watch the same sky
But do perspectives differ
On which stars are where?

Needle and haystack
Till the needle learns how to
Bring light to the night

Perhaps a fool's quest
I cannot see one thing change
But picture it might

Like an arrowhead
When we define home the same
Guiding you to yours

Minding not the stars
Such signals sent in darkness
Arc far more than they

Verdict

I have held this back for long enough. This wicked generation sickens me. This distasteful generation disgusts me. 1,000 generations promised, nonetheless, and so it will be. Did you know that one can build an image of Jesus so clearly in their mind that they will see an idol in his place and feel certain of their eternal fate? A cloned image, without the power of God. Perhaps considered fine, here on Earth, but what of on Judgement Day? How horrific would it be to find out that you have been lied to? How terrifying will it be to hear "I never knew you" in the silence, while you ask the lawyer by your side to proceed? Jesus is not coming for you. You hung him on the cross, you pierced him and left him there in your heart, never even thinking to repay the forgiveness he would ultimately offer.
