Hope of the robber
Sepia tones given time
To choose their own shine

Ice frozen ground thawed
Patience and obscurity
(Red/Pink/Rose) grew on its own

I have tended it
Donning the Gardener's hat
With best intentions

Did you stay away?
Headphones on so this (reaping/sowing)
Would be mine alone?

Do you echo now
The stomping of these fox feet
"Open wide you gates!"?

What is Hope renewed
What use is starting over
Besides finishing?

In perfection, end
In your arms evermore rest
When resting is due

Something else due now
Hear the little monster knock
And open the box

Verdict

I have held this back for long enough. This wicked generation sickens me. This distasteful generation disgusts me. 1,000 generations promised, nonetheless, and so it will be. Did you know that one can build an image of Jesus so clearly in their mind that they will see an idol in his place and feel certain of their eternal fate? A cloned image, without the power of God. Perhaps considered fine, here on Earth, but what of on Judgement Day? How horrific would it be to find out that you have been lied to? How terrifying will it be to hear "I never knew you" in the silence, while you ask the lawyer by your side to proceed? Jesus is not coming for you. You hung him on the cross, you pierced him and left him there in your heart, never even thinking to repay the forgiveness he would ultimately offer.
