Flying Off The Shelf

"Feller bets eye, dude calls! Read all about it!" The shocked businessman tosses the boy a coin and grabs a copy from his hand. The story isn't the headliner, so he flips a couple of pages before asking "what page is that on?" When he receives no response he looks back up to find the newsie gone. "What's all this then!? Of all the nonsense!" The man leaves, thinking that was the most absurd thing that has or ever would happen in mainstream media. Little did he know, he was merely the first of many who would fall victim to clickbait, a pioneer, if you will.

Verdict

I have held this back for long enough. This wicked generation sickens me. This distasteful generation disgusts me. 1,000 generations promised, nonetheless, and so it will be. Did you know that one can build an image of Jesus so clearly in their mind that they will see an idol in his place and feel certain of their eternal fate? A cloned image, without the power of God. Perhaps considered fine, here on Earth, but what of on Judgement Day? How horrific would it be to find out that you have been lied to? How terrifying will it be to hear "I never knew you" in the silence, while you ask the lawyer by your side to proceed? Jesus is not coming for you. You hung him on the cross, you pierced him and left him there in your heart, never even thinking to repay the forgiveness he would ultimately offer.
