Days Numbered

I wrote once of the Biblical flood, and how one could get a measurement of the drainage effect by picturing the flooded Earth as a sphere, and then calculating the volume change over the number of days, perhaps with variable pressure involved. With this, one could attempt to illuminate the effect scientifically, behind the drainage. I wrote later how this felt like the water may have drained into the mantle, as about 2/3rds of Earth's water is suspected to be there (2x that of all oceans and etc. combined), and then I wrote of an idea for how that may have come about.

A good friend of mine once pointed out that it seemed almost like circles had a different ratio to them than pi, being 3 instead, in early biblical times.
1 Kings 7:23
He made the Sea of cast metal, circular in shape, measuring ten cubits from rim to rim and five cubits high. It took a line of thirty cubits to measure around it.

Even in this passage the object in the temple was called the Sea, which I just now realized could draw the reader to thoughts of the flood as well. There have been other times I have noticed this shifting of size, such as the river and the rod (Ezekiel 47), or Jesus' miracles with multiplying food (Mark 8 and etc.). Given my interest and belief that such wonders are real possibilities, not just inexplicably sourced events, this concept of how reality crafting in terms of the scope of things might come about has been on my mind.

Today I was drawn to the numbers of days listed in Revelation and Daniel, in the context of this expansion of reality.
Revelation 11:3
"And I will appoint my two witnesses, and they will prophesy for 1,260 days, clothed in sackcloth.”
(This story is in reference to the second woe, two witnesses who can stop the rain and etc.)

Daniel 12:11-12
“From the time that the daily sacrifice is abolished and the abomination that causes desolation is set up, there will be 1,290 days. Blessed is the one who waits for and reaches the end of the 1,335 days."

What if this is not (only?) a specific number of days, but a reference to this expansion afoot? What if this expansion was meant to be a message to how the measurement of 3.5 years would shift over time? In this context, one could read "the daily sacrifice is abolished" as the resurrection of Jesus, when he took the place of all sacrifices, and 1,290 divided by our 365.25 calendar days at present is ~3.53 years (so it is close, but not exact). It could be that, before that time, years were 360 days, Earth's orbit being more circular in nature (I have considered the idea that the time of the end is similar/congruent to the time of the beginning, and perhaps this is one such way). In this way the 1,335 days would mark a shift to a longer year, one with more like 380 days, and one that in reaching such a time would carry a blessing.

My idea for the science behind the flood assumed advanced archeotech- essentially mankind tried to accomplish something on a global scale which resulted in a catastrophe by causing the mantle to expunge all of its water, like a chemical chain reaction, which was later either reversed explicitly by God or wore off on its own (allowing God to exclusively allow the specific invention by man to proceed- a low touch approach in terms of miracles/signs required on the matter). A longer year could occur due to a faster rotation of the earth, or possibly a longer revolution (not sure if a greater elliptical path would do that or not, and Google is not much help there, but apparently such changes are said to have occurred and result in ice ages). This I feel ties in well with my theory on what happened on Venus, where people may have lived there and tried to slow their planet's rotation so that a year and a day lined up and there would be a dark side and light side of the planet, which instead resulted in a cataclysm. Anyway, I imagine a Phoenix birth would influence the rotation of its planet (egg) in some way, regardless of how it happened, and since the emergence of a The Beast is referenced along with one of the dates I am examining (albeit 1,260 rather than 1,335), it could be that this emergence ties together.

This expansion of reality in terms of number of days has been a late night image that came to mind and since has not let me sleep. Still, I am glad for the chance to ponder such an unusual idea that, if you know where to look, has some biblical support to tie into it.
