How can you want this?

A blaze in the dark

Soulfire cruelest fate
Made more kind when it is shared
When a brother dared

Is destruction worse?
Has my soul not considered
Such an abrupt end?

There is no escape
Grave dug up, coffin pulled out
We are not alone.

Can minds be reframed?
Fireplaces in winter?
Bonfires on the beach?

Let's agree on this:
Though the spark will not go out

Verdict

I have held this back for long enough. This wicked generation sickens me. This distasteful generation disgusts me. 1,000 generations promised, nonetheless, and so it will be. Did you know that one can build an image of Jesus so clearly in their mind that they will see an idol in his place and feel certain of their eternal fate? A cloned image, without the power of God. Perhaps considered fine, here on Earth, but what of on Judgement Day? How horrific would it be to find out that you have been lied to? How terrifying will it be to hear "I never knew you" in the silence, while you ask the lawyer by your side to proceed? Jesus is not coming for you.
