Quarrel

Would you not agree
Freedom found in love's bindings
Is worth preserving?

Would you disagree
With the claim that love most true
Is of another?

Must it then be true
That I am a foreigner
Though form formed in full by You?

Must a man journey
To appreciate his home
And truly find it?

Why wrestle all night
If a broken bull would do?
You have the power

The pieces all fit
Nothing is necessary
I dare say perfect

Tiny fuzzy flaws
Seen but not calculated
Are still yours to judge

Or let them be judged 🀷
I have asked many questions
Might we walk and talk?

Verdict

I have held this back for long enough. This wicked generation sickens me. This distasteful generation disgusts me. 1,000 generations promised, nonetheless, and so it will be. Did you know that one can build an image of Jesus so clearly in their mind that they will see an idol in his place and feel certain of their eternal fate? A cloned image, without the power of God. Perhaps considered fine, here on Earth, but what of on Judgement Day? How horrific would it be to find out that you have been lied to? How terrifying will it be to hear "I never knew you" in the silence, while you ask the lawyer by your side to proceed? Jesus is not coming for you. You hung him on the cross, you pierced him and left him there in your heart, never even thinking to repay the forgiveness he would ultimately offer.
