A Moment in Time

Echoes from the ends
The beginning bringing forth
The end pulling back

How to end a dream
One is simply a cog in
Without shattering

Does the dreamer ask
To have these fault lines shatter
So this cycle ends?

A wave starts forming
The crests from opposite ends
In a set moment

Moment well hidden
With circuitous pathways
And treacherous tides

A cog built for this
With some damage winds inward
So clockwork might speak

Softly in the night
For I have fallen in love
"We will get through this."

I stand in the storm
Of the realm ripping apart
And refuse to leave
