I Choose Love: a rap

I didn't start writing until about 2/3rds into hearing this rap start playing in my head, but here's what I finished it with:

"You are gods", these words aren't mine but a direct quote from the man who was quoting the plan that has brought us to now. The same now screaming so loud you either go mad or deaf or you lose what you have left if you refuse to join in.

Where the past meets the future yeah we're right on the border, make sure your house is in order. Cuz were about to go through it but I know we can do it standing up as one unit.

"Nothing will be impossible" God said it himself when we were still in our youth getting too high for our health. Acting with one language now with a little more wisdom I know we can still turn around and make heaven from prison. What would you do if you could do it all, what are you so in love with here, what's the cost if we fall?

So what tongue will you use to answer this shout from above, silence in times like these just isn't enough. I know the road ahead might be just as rough, but when it comes my turn to speak, as for me I choose love.

Verdict

I have held this back for long enough. This wicked generation sickens me. This distasteful generation disgusts me. 1,000 generations promised, nonetheless, and so it will be. Did you know that one can build an image of Jesus so clearly in their mind that they will see an idol in his place and feel certain of their eternal fate? A cloned image, without the power of God. Perhaps considered fine, here on Earth, but what of on Judgement Day? How horrific would it be to find out that you have been lied to? How terrifying will it be to hear "I never knew you" in the silence, while you ask the lawyer by your side to proceed? Jesus is not coming for you.
