Similitudinary

And you never will.
For me there are no versions
There is only you

What happened to me
That you can feel such despair
On this precipice?

When did happiness
Become a dark eulogy
Hollowed of its joy?

Where do you linger
Beyond the reach of laughter?
I will find you there

If I can I will
If I cannot then I won't
Abide such a realm

How could I feel love
Knowing that one piece of you
Is trapped in the cold?

Call me bull headed
Call me stubborn as an oak
But this will not stand

Leave so I follow
If this is what you must do
We will be made whole
