I see you sleeping
You wince when I plead "wake up."
Can you not wake here?

I love a dreamer
Made clear when you speak his name
Words, soul misaligned

I sit in silence
I can feel the storm brewing
No clear path to take

Will you please wake up
This is not an accident
God makes no mistakes

As I weigh options
How can mundane life and death
Compare to this love?

A piece of me died
I am shocked it was not all
The rest is chained numb

Is the portal closed?
Am I meant to be elsewhere?
How do pieces fit?

I whisper "wake up"
Countless dreams flashing to mind
What else can I do?

Verdict

I have held this back for long enough. This wicked generation sickens me. This distasteful generation disgusts me. 1,000 generations promised, nonetheless, and so it will be. Did you know that one can build an image of Jesus so clearly in their mind that they will see an idol in his place and feel certain of their eternal fate? A cloned image, without the power of God. Perhaps considered fine, here on Earth, but what of on Judgement Day? How horrific would it be to find out that you have been lied to? How terrifying will it be to hear "I never knew you" in the silence, while you ask the lawyer by your side to proceed? Jesus is not coming for you.
