Springtime Cometh Molto Vivace

I've always loved the glowing bloom
When spring cometh early
Bursting at seams and into the room

No proof of the minutest slightest of change
None that should be visible
But still shimmering brightly, just within range

Like the first shoots of green since
Betraying glimpses of petal bloomprints

Like the ripple of a smell soon the air
A hint of lilac, as if from nowhere

Like a beating heart that soon comes
Heard ever so faintly 'neath sound of drums

I see it here and cannot help but smile
For hints are hints, eggs all the while
One blooming can be seen all around
Once linen falls, Spring springs from the ground
