Irreconcilable Differences

A proposal:
If there ever is a rift between you and I, and the question is posed "is there any part of you that would care to see what is down that path?", if the answer is yes, but only one can go, you and I retire privately to compare notes. We produce a version of ourselves that would like to walk that path, and we let them walk it alone. You and I remain the same and watch from a distance as the path is fully explored by another. We don't have the time or will to walk them all, I would love to let someone else do it, even if deep down they are a reflection of you and I.

Verdict

I have held this back for long enough. This wicked generation sickens me. This distasteful generation disgusts me. 1,000 generations promised, nonetheless, and so it will be. Did you know that one can build an image of Jesus so clearly in their mind that they will see an idol in his place and feel certain of their eternal fate? A cloned image, without the power of God. Perhaps considered fine, here on Earth, but what of on Judgement Day? How horrific would it be to find out that you have been lied to? How terrifying will it be to hear "I never knew you" in the silence, while you ask the lawyer by your side to proceed? Jesus is not coming for you. You hung him on the cross, you pierced him and left him there in your heart, never even thinking to repay the forgiveness he would ultimately offer.
