Old Treasures and New

Old treasures and new
While more than a few were lost
I keep them all out

They strike fear in some
But what is a man to do
Besides be himself?

To others be true?
False words known upon first sight
Sans integrity

So they seem foreign
Perhaps their value scares you?
Unknown currency

Do you hear that voice?
Saying such things threaten you?
To lock this man up?

No longer valid
Interior Designers
Have made sure of that

Those voices may scream
But the treasure trove remains
And grows every day

Have the words changed yet?
It is a matter of time
They will grow on you.
