Quantum Free Will

Who is to say that odds are not threads on other sides of the tapestry?

One pull here may create a number of pulls "there" but we can only perceive the one result.

In much the same way, one day could lead to many ends, but our actions, born of our intentions, dictate the outcome.

God sees our hearts, our thoughts.

Presumably in a system requiring both the combination of omniscience/omnipotence and free will, there can be no solution.

Unless the observer sees all, and decides to edit the final cut.

If our minds require an understanding of the quantum to comprehend, who is to say the dice weren't loaded from the start?

Consciousness would therefore be a "choose your own adventure" story, pulled from the effectively infinite annals of the book (from our own perspective).

In the end, our individual net sum of choices were limited (technically) but only OUR unique song is recorded.

In this way the quantum outcomes may be a glimpse into the multiverse. While here they measure one way, just next door they measure another, until the odds become nearly zero, but infinitesimal threads shoot off from the central web we see.

Einstein, with his extensive knowledge and limited available evidence, could not see how quantum mechanics furthered, and possibly provided the foundation for, the Theory of Everything.

By contrast it seems today, through a combination of hubris and ignorance, we consider the topic to be unknowable.

So in the end it seems to me that God is not so much playing dice, but letting us use His for now. It must be a very good view.
