In the Garden

Light the red lilies
Let them shimmer in the field
To hypnotize me

Seek out the blue rose
Unknown in this soil fair
We must adventure

Pluck the daffodils
Bring them with us to brighten
The darkest of nights

Find chrysanthemum
Swift to the farthest reaches
Cherish time apart

Roll in the green grass
It looks fun, might I join you?
For but a short time

Let lavender seep
Calming the depths of my soul
Scent of remembrance

Carnations abound
Reflecting their surroundings
Our colors hold true

Save me the daisy
And all that it represents
Purest white promise

Verdict

I have held this back for long enough. This wicked generation sickens me. This distasteful generation disgusts me. 1,000 generations promised, nonetheless, and so it will be. Did you know that one can build an image of Jesus so clearly in their mind that they will see an idol in his place and feel certain of their eternal fate? A cloned image, without the power of God. Perhaps considered fine, here on Earth, but what of on Judgement Day? How horrific would it be to find out that you have been lied to? How terrifying will it be to hear "I never knew you" in the silence, while you ask the lawyer by your side to proceed? Jesus is not coming for you. You hung him on the cross, you pierced him and left him there in your heart, never even thinking to repay the forgiveness he would ultimately offer.
