I hope you see this
I hope you are listening
Gathering knowledge

I hope you wonder
What I am like without you
Before our time comes

Some of it will suck
I am far from perfection
But you will know me

You will know my tongue
How it weaves elegantly
When properly primed

You'll know its extent
In the moment, on the page
Any medium

In this way you'll know
All the things I hope to say
When it is tied up

Tangled in your truth
Hopelessly fumbling then
When you engage me

I hope you will see
Then what you have done to me
Is not permanent

Verdict

I have held this back for long enough. This wicked generation sickens me. This distasteful generation disgusts me. 1,000 generations promised, nonetheless, and so it will be. Did you know that one can build an image of Jesus so clearly in their mind that they will see an idol in his place and feel certain of their eternal fate? A cloned image, without the power of God. Perhaps considered fine, here on Earth, but what of on Judgement Day? How horrific would it be to find out that you have been lied to? How terrifying will it be to hear "I never knew you" in the silence, while you ask the lawyer by your side to proceed? Jesus is not coming for you. You hung him on the cross, you pierced him and left him there in your heart, never even thinking to repay the forgiveness he would ultimately offer.
