All Hope

A new road awaits
The Lord granting another
By which I may walk

Showing just in time
With sweet smile and sweeter heart
Waiting close beside

I can't remember
The last time I fell this hard
At very first glance

The kind of perfect
That makes the journey till now
Feel like it had worth

With her mother's eyes
And her father's burning soul
Without an equal

It is hard to leave
What was built over decades
But it feels like time

When I hear her laugh
Yes, she was worth all the pain
And I will not hide

When she asks of this
I will not hide one detail
Making clear as day

Verdict

I have held this back for long enough. This wicked generation sickens me. This distasteful generation disgusts me. 1,000 generations promised, nonetheless, and so it will be. Did you know that one can build an image of Jesus so clearly in their mind that they will see an idol in his place and feel certain of their eternal fate? A cloned image, without the power of God. Perhaps considered fine, here on Earth, but what of on Judgement Day? How horrific would it be to find out that you have been lied to? How terrifying will it be to hear "I never knew you" in the silence, while you ask the lawyer by your side to proceed? Jesus is not coming for you.
