God Does Not Play Dice With The Universe

I will guard the gate
Even while nearly lifeless
Keep the lid unsealed

I will throw the stones
Pebbles skipping on the stream
Tapping your window

I'll filibuster
Talking all night, night, and day
If necessary

I will stalk their dreams
Looking for an opening
To shine a faint light

I will walk the Earth
Treading and retreading ground
Till you are ready

I have seen our home
I remember our family
I dance to regain

When the last note plays
I will rest with all returned
Perhaps before then?

It would be a dream
To dance with you by day's light
But need we to sleep?
