Universal Closeness

Glistening starlight
Underlying potential
For intimacy

Measured in closeness
And to varying degrees
The tapestry sewn

A few stitches left
They both acknowledge control
That the other has

She shapes his feelings
And his experiences
With but intention

He shapes the world
Manifesting force of will
Through conscious effort

Neither goes too far
Nor treads where they should not go
To maintain the dream

All the denizens
Are waking up to the truth
Each in their own time

Tiptoeing the line
As the two finish their work
Not much longer now

Verdict

I have held this back for long enough. This wicked generation sickens me. This distasteful generation disgusts me. 1,000 generations promised, nonetheless, and so it will be. Did you know that one can build an image of Jesus so clearly in their mind that they will see an idol in his place and feel certain of their eternal fate? A cloned image, without the power of God. Perhaps considered fine, here on Earth, but what of on Judgement Day? How horrific would it be to find out that you have been lied to? How terrifying will it be to hear "I never knew you" in the silence, while you ask the lawyer by your side to proceed? Jesus is not coming for you. You hung him on the cross, you pierced him and left him there in your heart, never even thinking to repay the forgiveness he would ultimately offer.
