Hypercoil

Somewhere between life, death, and a dream, I saw a hyper real shape.  In viewing it I could tell it was more real than what I would even consider my "self," but it seemed to be of enough complexity to generate my "self."  It was almost as if this "shape" in its entirety, was my soul.

From my initial vantage point it looked like a ring, silver in color, and I was viewing it where the back was slightly tilted upward from the front, like a flat, empty disk.

The ring first began to form spikes along its edges, like music I could not hear was being played and represented visually in this way.  The color scheme of the entire ring then began to shift to gold, and then grey, and then back to silver, before becoming blinding white light with a few streaks of black.  The spikes grew in magnitude until each one threatened to pierce the edges of the reality I found myself in. Then for a moment the spikes overcame reality, blinding me, and when they began to recede to the surface of the ring, I felt nearly certain that they were in opposite positions from when they left my field of view.  It was if in that surge past the walls of reality, the components of reality changed places, with 0 becoming 1 and vice versa.  There was no proof, and the evidence I had gathered faded from certainty as quickly as the spikes receded, but I felt as if that must have been what had happened, and this was now an inside out version of where I was before.

I also got the impression this inverting of reality happened with some frequency, and it seems like it always returned me to a familiar ground somehow, so the idea lost some of its edge and instead became a curiosity for me.

Then the ring started to spin clockwise and as it did the pattern changed, but the spikes continued to rhythmically appear in other colors, including red.  As the ring spun, the bottom edge of it dropped into the space below like a corkscrew, slowly it became apparent that this was a form of coil, but I could not tell how that was apparent now, but had not been apparent before it had started spinning.  I also could not tell how the object was metering this change in relation to its overall movement, my best guesses were all force related- extreme gravity bending the relatively featureless surroundings, perhaps a current was running through it creating a wave in a charged environment, or maybe its material allowed it to puncture the Ether itself, and the friction of that insertion was what caused the corkscrew effect.  Either way I saw 1-2 spins this way, and I could extrapolate the movement of the object from that point forward- penetrating the space beneath it, presumably before stopping and reversing, although I was not able to picture it that far ahead.

While the shape was morphing and moving in ways I had never seen before, it resonated with my instinctual understanding of physics; these instincts would work in these dimensions.  This was like the difference between seeing a photshopped video of a thing and seeing the thing in person for the first time.  While my remaining conscious mind wanted to dismiss the whole experience, my subconscious mind would not look away, and was recording every bit of it for further study and experimentation.
