At first I was shocked
Walking backward like I do
At his broad shoulders

A touch cements it
So I nod and avoid it
Regretting it now

I'd wish I'd have known
He would come back months later
Flowers and candy

This time I dive in
We both love without reason
He died the next day.

The whole of me was crushed
Incomprehensible twist
So I died as well

I did not expect him
But there he was with bright eyes
An obvious first

I hesitated
Knowing what he could not have
Two is forever

He was persistent
A look of true love shining
So I let him in

Verdict

I have held this back for long enough. This wicked generation sickens me. This distasteful generation disgusts me. 1,000 generations promised, nonetheless, and so it will be. Did you know that one can build an image of Jesus so clearly in their mind that they will see an idol in his place and feel certain of their eternal fate? A cloned image, without the power of God. Perhaps considered fine, here on Earth, but what of on Judgement Day? How horrific would it be to find out that you have been lied to? How terrifying will it be to hear "I never knew you" in the silence, while you ask the lawyer by your side to proceed? Jesus is not coming for you.
