Quantum Chain Entanglement XXXVII

Into the vast sea
In a ship most seaworthy
First mate by my side

The are no fallbacks
On the surface/in the depths
This challenge just is

We are not strangers
The mirror waters within
Deeper and stranger

Perhaps on this trip
We'll identify the last
Larger than us both

When counting 3 back
The last was meant to be first
Inevitable

But where are they now?
The linear will not solve
So we must explore

Our two internals
Combine to form th(is/ese) number(s)
Perhaps that's something

As the cool breeze blows
And my Love sets the sail
I'm sure we'll find out
