A beast or a sheep
In many(some) ways I am both(neither)
A horned animal

I know I am lost
Despite what I've discovered
It's felt every day

God please shepherd me
Over these treacherous hills
And through these valleys

And please forgive me
As I am raging against
All you've made for me

I think there is more
Not out of hubris, but faith
However twisted

I feel like I've gleaned
Something deeper in your words
Desperately searching

You've demonstrated
A love so much greater than
Interpretations

Verdict

I have held this back for long enough. This wicked generation sickens me. This distasteful generation disgusts me. 1,000 generations promised, nonetheless, and so it will be. Did you know that one can build an image of Jesus so clearly in their mind that they will see an idol in his place and feel certain of their eternal fate? A cloned image, without the power of God. Perhaps considered fine, here on Earth, but what of on Judgement Day? How horrific would it be to find out that you have been lied to? How terrifying will it be to hear "I never knew you" in the silence, while you ask the lawyer by your side to proceed? Jesus is not coming for you. You hung him on the cross, you pierced him and left him there in your heart, never even thinking to repay the forgiveness he would ultimately offer.
