Wish

Just one word spoken
But a lifetime to prepare
Many I suspect

More of a feeling
Like the first glance at true love
Beauti-fully vague

Daringly precise
A dichotomy in thought
Easy to exploit

But what of failure?
Impossibly rooted wish:
Inconceivable.

It will take some work
But it will be eternal
So what is some strife

So I navigate
The gauntlet of naysayers
Jealous to their cores

The fire stolen
The prim(ary/al) (garden found/goal remembered)
My eyes on the prize

Verdict

I have held this back for long enough. This wicked generation sickens me. This distasteful generation disgusts me. 1,000 generations promised, nonetheless, and so it will be. Did you know that one can build an image of Jesus so clearly in their mind that they will see an idol in his place and feel certain of their eternal fate? A cloned image, without the power of God. Perhaps considered fine, here on Earth, but what of on Judgement Day? How horrific would it be to find out that you have been lied to? How terrifying will it be to hear "I never knew you" in the silence, while you ask the lawyer by your side to proceed? Jesus is not coming for you. You hung him on the cross, you pierced him and left him there in your heart, never even thinking to repay the forgiveness he would ultimately offer.
