All for One

Dart Pieces of Eight
Fastest companion around
Laying on the ground

I watch the sunset
Remembering the full moon
And howling inside

New grounds and new sky
The same old dream sparkling
Blue in my mind's eye

An orange counterpoint
Hands protruding from Red sleeves
Seen through my Green eyes

Favorite colors fade
Replaced by a deep purple
Soon to dark of night

And a blank white page
Always has filled me with rage
So I look beyond

A horn rimmed owl
Illustrates a precision
I do not possess

As the colors morph
And soon sounds bleed together
All senses ignite
