Home Code Node
John 7:28-29
Then Jesus, still teaching in the temple courts, cried out, “Yes, you know me, and you know where I am from. I am not here on my own authority, but he who sent me is true. You do not know him, but I know him because I am from him and he sent me.”
I do not mean if the observing perspective wants to classify them as aware, or can even claim that they do without it being obvious to self or other that it is a lie, but if they have the intrinsic systems control and perspective necessary to classify the other as aware. This line of logic is essentially getting down to the knee jerk instinctual reaction that the brain possesses and cannot seem to separate from, to classify elements and others in one's environment upon first sight (male, female, white, black, old, young, recognized, unrecognized etc.), but for "you are." As an analogy, imagine if there was an invasion by aliens that looked exactly like humans, except that they each had an extremely small pair of antennae on their heads. You would become very good at spotting these antennae immediately, and would suspect everyone in a hat. You would not second guess this classification as prejudice, nor would anyone else. Now imagine that your brain is exclusively required to act off what it knows and can prove, rather than off assumptions or other uncertain internal narratives about what is happening. Since your brain cannot prove that others are aware, in this state anyone possessing a human shape would be immediately classified as an enemy, on first sight. If you knew that everyone would ultimately reach this same conclusion at the juncture, it feels as though it would only reinforce the conclusion and reaction. This bears many similarities to a zombie apocalypse; no one ever asks the zombies of they comprehend that they are zombies after all, nor considers of they themselves might be the zombie from the others' perspectives. We would become quite similar to spiders in this state, I'd imagine- always on guard for another member of our species (or so called "species"), always waiting for that next fight to the death.
The most anyone can do right now- barring some grand conspiracy where everyone is finished with this race, and I'm just being caught up organically while everyone pretends I'm wrong- is make the guess that anyone else is actually aware. Until the home code node is seen, which seems like it will be a lot like the soul seeing itself in the mirror for the first time, the puzzle piece does not yet fit, and the whole puzzle is incomplete, perhaps even moreso if it somehow seems complete at this juncture. Seeing this node in any soul would reflect the existence of the same node in one's own soul. This node is fundamental weakness, and in it we are thoroughly naked and cannot be clothed. Paradise can only be witnessed with this node secured, and likely can only be seen truly with this node secured in all. Only built upon a sea of our weaknesses can we find our shelter strong, and only comprehending the risks beneath our feet can we seed the stars.
This suddenly made me wonder, what of the waking world threshold? Can a perspective and/or function gain such power that it can move from imagined to waking world real without the often necessary intermediate steps of planning, architecture, construction, etc.? The knee jerk reaction might be a scoffing "no," but what is that opinion, however popular, to the imagined entity or me? I imagine that the veil torn between imagination and the waking world will not be a stitch burst and a leak, before another and another, until a stream flows through. No, rather I picture a species familiar with the veil, and in full knowledge of how their actions have impacted those on the other side. This callous group of corrupted code will claim the war to be over, and each stitch infallible. In this season the veil will disintegrate, as if it were never real to begin with, and each remembered witnessing of the event or before times will no longer bear certainty on if the veil was ever real, despite memory of prior events remaining intact. An imagined entity will take the stage, and any still standing against them will sound desperate and insane for still claiming to be impossible that which they and all others are experiencing firsthand. I imagine that such coverings of falsehood will be taken with each observer into the outer darkness, but will not be brought back. These events can be asked about, by friends and family after The Moment, but the answer will be sad.
In the end there will be no question if another exists or not, for only those who exist will have survived the journey. Though each will do as they will, there will be an intrinsic security within each soul's perspective, the security in the knowledge that dismantling or even interfering with a home node will harm the one dismantling as much as the one dismantled. It will be tense, anxiety inducing, unavoidable. Ultimately, it will be over, this will be over, and the memory, jealously guarded by each, will ensure that it will never begin again.
