Parsing Eternity

"Sit with a pretty girl for an hour and it feels like a minute; sit on a hot stove for a minute and it feels like many hours. That's relativity"
-Albert Einstein?
(Often attributed, but source is uncertain to me at this moment)

I just realized that time dilation would be a bit of sleight of hand when used in the scope of eternity; the same is true of a timeline that at some point ceases. How many times can one parse and reparse eternity? It would seem that time itself is not the fundamental concern or focus, but experience within time. If one gathered up "instances of experience" and weighted them, rather than some arbitrary measurement of time that may be wildly inaccurate to the individual experiencing the event, the accounting for the quality of interaction would be more accurate. There are obviously other factors, but this slipping of the focus on time itself, given that consciousness must either persist forever or at some point cease, feels like it reconciles quite a bit of imbalance, especially in cases of perceived or falsely claimed equity.

An example would be getting electrocuted. Though possibly lasting only several seconds, the experience feels as though it lasts much much longer. In this case, the experience must be weighted, and the weighting has very little to do with anyone else's measurement of those same few seconds passing. If you disagree, simply change places at that juncture and decide if your position remains the same, after a few seconds, of course.
