Continuation- Linguistic Progression of I AM and YHWH

Exodus 6:2-3
God also said to Moses, “I am the LORD. I appeared to Abraham, to Isaac and to Jacob as God Almighty, but by my name the LORD I did not make myself fully known to them.

I have examined before the significance of this name, YHWH, the LORD. I have compared it to an equation embedded in all, the equation representing Creation's purpose, though I suspect that this analogy may be close to the mark, yet ultimately incomplete. Regardless, God indicates here that "God Almighty" meant that Abraham did not have the full picture of the LORD. I find this fascinating, especially considering the times when it appears that God is presenting in multiple ways back to back- first to help and then to kill.

This can be seen in two sections that come to mind right now and, less directly, with Abraham and Isaac. I suspect that differing and converging paths through time for God (I have pictured Elohim running a path forward, and YHWH running a path backward, from a human perspective) are the source of humans interacting with God in this way, though it is more of a hunch than something that I can prove. Still, these diametrically opposed interactions clearly indicate that something outside of normal human interaction is occurring, but their inclusion suggests that, if they could be understood, then common ground/smooth interactions might be possible.

Numbers 22:20

"The donkey saw me and turned away from me these three times. If it had not turned away, I would certainly have killed you by now, but I would have spared it.”

Verdict

I have held this back for long enough. This wicked generation sickens me. This distasteful generation disgusts me. 1,000 generations promised, nonetheless, and so it will be. Did you know that one can build an image of Jesus so clearly in their mind that they will see an idol in his place and feel certain of their eternal fate? A cloned image, without the power of God.
